Resizing and Remanufacturing
Before undergoing our manufacturing process, Periapt Studio emphasises the importance of confirming the correct size. In light of the nature of the product itself, we offer one complimentary resizing for all of our Bespoke Engagement, Signature Engagement, Ready-to-Wear Engagement and Moissanite Engagement rings. You can resize your ring for free within six months of the date it was dispatched from our studio. We offer one free ring resizing if the ring falls within our resizing parameters, but if it does not, the piece may need to be remanufactured to maintain its quality and durability. Setting style and ring size play a role in determining resizing parameters. We won't resize one of our rings if we believe it will compromise the structure.Remanufacture rates are discounted for engagement rings dispatched within six months that require remanufacturing. Upon expiration of the initial 6-month period from the date of dispatch, our standard repair and resizing fee structure will apply.Depending on the metal type and setting style, repair, resizing, and remanufacturing costs vary. Rhodium plating will be charged at a cost for resized pieces.
Warranty, Resizing and Repairs
At Periapt Studio, our intention is always to create jewellery that lasts a lifetime. Each piece is crafted with care and precision, but we understand that with wear, life happens which is why we stand by our work with a considered warranty and repair service.
Resizing and Remanufacturing
We understand the importance of ensuring the perfect fit. For all Bespoke Engagement, Signature Engagement, Ready-to-Wear Engagement and Moissanite Engagement rings, we offer one complimentary resizing within six months of dispatch, provided the ring falls within our resizing parameters.
In some cases, due to design, setting style or ring size, resizing may compromise the structural integrity of the piece. If this occurs, we will recommend remanufacturing instead. For engagement rings dispatched within six months, discounted remanufacture rates apply. After the six-month period, our standard repair and resizing fees will be charged.
Please note that rhodium plating is charged separately for resized pieces. Resizing and remanufacturing costs may vary depending on metal type, ring design, and setting style.
Warranty
Periapt Studio offers a limited warranty on all Bespoke Engagement, Signature Engagement, Ready-to-Wear Engagement, Moissanite Engagement and Wedding Ring designs. This warranty exists to cover manufacturing defects that may very rarely go undetected during our quality control process and is valid up to 24 months after purchase.
- If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, your piece will be repaired at no cost, and we will also cover the relevant shipping charges.
- Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from extreme misuse, loss, or if alterations, resizing, or repairs are carried out by a third-party jeweller.
- If damage falls outside of warranty, we will happily restore your piece for a fee relative to the work required.
Care and Servicing
Each of our engagement and wedding rings includes complimentary stone tightening and polishing. To help your piece remain in its best condition, we recommend professional servicing once a year.
Clients are responsible for return shipping costs for servicing or non-warranty repairs. International clients should also retain original import documentation to avoid additional duties or taxes on returns.
Stones and Insurance
Our warranty does not cover lost, chipped or damaged diamonds and gemstones. While this is very uncommon, we strongly recommend arranging independent jewellery insurance to protect against accidents or unforeseen events, especially for focal stones.
